This is an exclusive diamond, very rare in quality and brilliance. I had the official US Treasury appraisal with me but I did not show it to the guy before, just curious what he'll say about the diamond. He looked on it, extensively, kept on texting someone, and then looked again. After 10 minutes he offered $4,000 for a De Beers diamond appraised at $47,000 in 2005. He then up the offer to $6,000. When I showed him the appraisal he asked me to wait and called his "boss" in Riverside, who came back with $8,000 offer. I left.
